Mark Paul is a retired photographer turned entrepreneur, marketer, and technologist who is driven by his curiosity and understanding the world. He blends his experience in visual storytelling, strategy, and emerging technology to build purpose driven brands, products, and digital experiences. On his free time he likes to walk and travel. In 2011, he walked 650 miles in Japan and documented the aftermath of 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami and the recovery efforts of the Japanese people.

What Project Indigo means to me:

– Project Indigo is a human centered app that connects people, culture, and ideas by empowering them through technology they can control.

Daniel Herrera

CTO/Co-Founder

Daniel Herrera is a software engineer who specializes in leading teams from concept to execution, turning ideas into proof-of-concepts and scalable MVPs. With a background in full-stack development and cloud systems, he combines technical expertise with collaborative leadership to deliver resilient solutions and drive innovation across diverse projects.

Yerim Lee

Lead Product Designer

Yerim is a designer with Midwestern roots, currently living in sunny California with her husband and Siamese cat. She is the Lead Product Designer for TMPEC. She has a demonstrated history of working in technical teams to create digital experiences from the ground up. Her intention as a designer is to build products that connect and empower human beings. 

What Project Indigo Means to Me:

-An initiative to empower young people to go out, explore, and connect with others.

 

Seth Flucas

Software Engineer Intern/Backend Developer

I’m Seth Flucas, a student in Computer Science at the University of California, Irvine. As an upcoming software engineer, I enjoy building programming projects, learning about new technologies, and improving as a developer in my free time. In the past I’ve worked as a student developer, participated in a national data science challenge, and built production applications; all of which have honed my skills and made me love the tech field even more.

Teah Brumbaugh

UI/UX Designer Intern

Teah is the UI/UX Designer for TMPEC who utilizes various skillsets to craft seamless stories and experiences that evoke human empathy and understanding. From graphic design to film to games, she employs the strength of different mediums to best convey the messages she wants to tell. In addition to crafting stories, she loves to consume them, engage with fandom culture, and rant about theories for hours on end!

Sawyer Valin

Development Intern

Sawyer Valin is an Informatics major at the University of California, Irvine. With a foundation in IT systems, software engineering, and UX design, Sawyer blends technical fluency with a storyteller’s instinct to build thoughtful, people-first technology. His work spans managed IT, full-stack app development with React Native and Supabase, and data-driven automation in Python.
